Want more visibility after the audit?
Add your website to DrSEO for editorial review, or run another audit when you want to check a different page.
Real checks first. AI suggestions second.
DrSEO checks the page itself first. If AI suggestions are enabled, the model only receives the audit findings and turns them into a short, practical action plan.
Public pages only
We accept public HTTP and HTTPS pages, block private-network targets and validate redirects before following them.
SEO checks
We check titles and metadata, headings, canonical URLs, indexability, structured data, links, image alt text and basic response information.
Clear priorities
You get a score, clear findings and a short list of the changes worth tackling first.
About the free SEO checkup
What DrSEO checks, what it does not check and how to use the result.
What does the free SEO checkup analyze?
The audit checks public-page signals such as titles and metadata, headings, canonical URLs, indexability rules, structured data, links, image alt text and basic response information.
Does the audit make changes to my website?
No. DrSEO reads only the public URL you submit and standard public robots or sitemap endpoints. It never logs in, installs code or edits your website.
Do I need an account to run the audit?
No. The basic SEO checkup can be run without creating an account.
Is this a Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals test?
No. The Server & HTML performance section uses response time and HTML document size only. It has a small effect on the score and does not replace Lighthouse or real-user Core Web Vitals data.
Can I audit a private or local website?
No. The audit only accepts public HTTP or HTTPS pages. Private, local and other unsafe network targets are blocked, and redirects are checked before they are followed.
Does a high audit score guarantee better Google rankings?
No. The score summarizes the checks DrSEO performed; it is not a ranking prediction. Use the findings to decide what to investigate and fix first.
